Affinity Groups

We enjoy doing life together!  We have several "Affinity Groups" that get together to hang out throughout the year.  We have everything from camping to crafting, watching Ted Lasso to just walking and talking!  Check out the information below to connect with our current Affinity Groups, and if there's something you don't see, but are interested in, let us know!

Ladies Lunch Bunch

On the 2nd Thursday each month, this group meets at Mellow Mushroom for lunch at 12:30 pm.  Let them know you're coming, and they'll save you a seat!

Theology on Tap

Contact: Amy Andrews

This group hangs out at the picnic tables at Local Oak Brewery in Winterville, every other Thursday at 6 pm.  This group is pet and family friendly, and there's plenty a shade from the summer sun!

Camping

Cedarbridge takes an annual camping trip in the spring!  Whether you tent camp, "rough it" in a cabin, or roll up in a camper - there's room for everyone!  Keep an eye out in our newsletter for more information!

Open Table

Contact: Amanda Fulcher

This group is a mission focused cooking group that meets about every 6 weeks to do batch freezer meal cooking.  If you find yourself needing a little extra help at meal time, or have a family member, a neighbor, or a co-worker in need of a love-cooked meal, please grab one from our freezer! Our hope is that these meals will be a blessing not only to our Cedarbridge community, but to our extended community as well.

Coed Softball

Our softball team plays in Greenville Parks & Rec's coed division.  Games are on various Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays throughout the fall and spring.  Check the newsletter for upcoming games if you'd like to cheer on the team!

Cedars

This group is for individuals 50 years old and older (or those that want to hang out with  50 year olds and older).  They get together for various activities like holidays, potlucks, and lunches after worship.

Coed Volleyball

Our volleyball teams play in Ayden's coed division. Games are on Fridays throughout the winter.  Check the newsletter for upcoming games if you'd like to cheer on the team!

Sew Much Fun

Our sewing group sews all kinds of items, with a current emphasis on creating liturgical decor like tablecloths, cross coverings, and banners to make our worship space special!

Lights Camera Action

Contact: Todd Bagley

Join in on the newly formed Acting Affinity Group to learn and practice improvising a scene, performing close up versus wide shots, and preparing for any role using healthy boundaries.
